Facing cancer is a challenging experience for patients and families. At Brigham and Women’s/Sturdy Memorial Radiation Oncology Center, we aim to ease the burden of cancer treatment by providing expert cancer care in a local, community setting. Patients receive innovative and advanced care in a warm, welcoming environment.
Brigham and Women’s/Sturdy Memorial Radiation Oncology Center is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Seal of accreditation attests to the facility’s highest level of quality and patient safety. It is awarded only to facilities meeting specific practice guidelines and technical standards developed by ACR after a third-party, peer-review evaluation by board-certified radiation oncologists and medical physicists who are experts in the field. Patient care and treatment, patient safety, personnel qualifications, adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures, and quality assurance programs are assessed.
The Brigham and Women’s/Sturdy Memorial Radiation Oncology Center is a joint venture of Brigham and Women’s Physicians Organization and Sturdy Memorial Hospital.
